The ASLA story – A journey of resilience and innovation
This book provides but a snapshot of the long road ASLA has travelled since its establishment in 1973. It is a celebration of the lives and times of the founders and associates who accompanied them during various chapters of their journey. It aims to distil lessons from the past and seeks to imprint these lessons as part of the business’ recipe as it embarks on the next forty-five years. It seeks to share lesson learned and experiences gained, in particular with those who are engaging in the construction industry. It makes an effort to encourage, strengthen and guide all participants in the sector who are on their own quest to establish themselves in the South African Construction Industry.

The Story of Us – as told by Anne Grace
I ghost wrote this book for a South African woman who wanted to give her husband of 25-years a special anniversary gift. In “The Story of Us” Anne recounts her life, going all the way back down memory lane to begin with her childhood in England. She is open and candid, revealing some of the hard knocks the university of life dished out, and how she keeps on bouncing back, no matter what the circumstances. It was a privilege to be trusted with her story and I hope that everyone who reads it, can hear her voice throughout.
